Il gioco si caratterizza per una struttura ibrida, che inserisce elementi tipicamente ruolistici in una sorta di meccanica action platform, con un vasto mondo da esplorare, quest da portare a termine e tanti scontri, facendo evolvere il personaggio principale con i punti esperienza accumulati. Notevole, in particolare, il comparto grafico in 2D disegnato a mano, che richiama lo stile degli anni 90 ma con grafica in alta definizione.
