TRAMA
Nell'inverno 2006 tra le cittadine di Bemidji e Duluth (Minnesota). Questi due luoghi sono stati segnati dall'arrivo del violento delinquente Lorne Malvo, che durante un casuale incontro a Bemidji trascina in un piano criminale un sempliciotto assicuratore senza successo, Lester Nygaard; ad indagare sugli intricati avvenimenti è la giovane e intraprendente agente di polizia Molly Solverson.
